Europa League draw: Arsenal in nightmare quarter-final

Maurizio Sarri's side now sit three points behind the Gunners in the Premier League table, but their London rivals do not play again until April while fifth-placed Manchester United are in FA Cup action this weekend.

"So, for me, it will be very hard to play against them in Naples".

The Blues can still qualify for next season's Champions League by virtue of winning the Europa League in Maurizio Sarri's first season in charge. I thought that game for him was a good one.

Napoli were fortunate to progress to the quarterfinal after suffering a 3-1 defeat in the reverse tie against RB Salzburg, making it on a 4-3 aggregate score courtesy of Arkadiusz Milik's important away goal.

Chelsea may well rotate their strongest side into the equation for the weekend, in a push for a top four Premier League finish. I don't like that, ' said Sarri.

" "[The draw against Arsenal is] a hard but very fascinating challenge for us, for the club and for our fans.

"I am a competitor, I want to play every single game and to be happy on the pitch", he said.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri got his wish to avoid former club Napoli after the Italian side were drawn to face Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

The path to the final at Azerbaijan's Olympic Stadium in Baku on Wednesday 29th May was also revealed with Friday's draw showing which of the quarter-final winners will face off in the semi-finals.

Jovic is now on a two-year loan at the German side from their Europa League opponents Benfica, with Frankfurt likely to take up the option-to-buy clause in the summer.

"Of course, an Arsenal final sounds good from the British side of things". And second, it means that Napoli are in the final, and I am happy.

"But I think it's about seeing each one as it comes and going through each round".
