Usher & Rich the Kid Attacked at Recording Studio, Shots Fired

Shots were fired while the rapper and his entourage were at LA's Westlake Recording Studio, where both Rich and Usher were recording at the time. Usher was also in the studio, but came out unharmed.

TMZ report that "multiple shots were fired" with Usher - real name Usher Raymond IV - unhurt in the attack.

TMZ reports that the rapper Rich the Kid was the intended subject of the attempted robbery. At least one of his bodyguards was reportedly badly beaten in the attack.

According to law enforcement, the victims said three suspects confronted them in the passage behind the studio and "demanded their money and jewellery".

Hours before the attack, Rich the Kid posted a pic of himself on the 'gram holding stacks of cash along with the caption: "For motivational purposes only". Rich The Kid was reportedly outside during the shooting.

Police are investigating the attack and haven't made any arrests, nor identified the suspects. We're told the man who opened fire was running away from the studio when he started shooting behind him.

Two masked men reportedly entered the resident and demanded cash and jewelry from Rich and Tori Brixx, who is now pregnant with his child.

The famous studio has been home to recordings by artists like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson, Shakira, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, and Quincy Jones in the past.
