Over the weekend, a letter Meghan wrote to her father, Thomas Markle, was revealed in the Mail on Sunday, where she begged her family to stop victimising her in interviews.

Elsewhere, Erin Hill, the editor of People Magazine, justified the reason why Meghan's friend spoke to the press.

According to the letter attributed to Markle, the royal refutes some other specific claims he's made, writing, "You've told the press that you called me to say you weren't coming to the wedding - that didn't happen because you never called".

But the host of the radio show said that the royal historian that was there just minutes before he called already said that nobody else had suffered the level of abuse that Markle is now facing.

"Meg has silently sat back and endured the lies and untruths", one former co-star said.

He added: "I'm the father of twins, I have enough sh- to deal with - literally!"

While in Australia promoting his new TV series Catch-22, George came to Duchess Meghan's defence, comparing the trolling of the mom-to-be with the negativity that followed Princess Diana.

"You've said I never helped you financially and you've never asked me for help which is also untrue", the note reads.

"Quite frankly I had faith in her on and off to do the right thing by her dad but I'm sick of the bulls"t". I called and texted ...
