The company has not revealed the price and availability of the Redmi Go, nevertheless, several reports have suggested that the phone might come to stores by the next month. It also includes that Redmi 6 has Rs. 500 exchange offer which Flipkart has to provide the offers for the Phone for the limited time.

Xiaomi, in a tweet about the Redmi Go, revealed that the phone will have a 5-inch HD display with 720p resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, 3000 mAh battery. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor and 1GB of RAM, according to WinFuture. However, there are no details about the other specs of the phone.

It might not have any of the extra flair seen on some of its Android Go competition, like the Asus ZenFone Live L1, which has a 18:9 display and a Face Unlock feature, but that may be the cost of hitting such a low price.

According to prolific leakster, Roland Quandt, the device will be priced under 80 Euro (about RM376) but we reckon it should be going for less than RM300 if ever comes to Malaysia.

Xiaomi hosted a special launch event for Redmi Note 7 earlier this week and the Chinese based tech giant used this event as an opportunity to announce that a bigger and more powerful Redmi Note 7 Pro is going to arrive soon. However, the company has not yet announced whether or not it will be sold in the United States. The image shows what appears to be two different color options for the Redmi Go, Black or Blue. The 4GB RAM and the 6GB RAM versions of the smartphone are available at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively. Moreover, Redmi Note 7 Pro will use a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor. The device is affordable and its stand out feature is on the camera department.

Xiaomi's most popular smartphone, Poco F1, is available with a discount of Rs 2,000.

Even during the Redmi Note 7 launch presentation, Jun had talked about higher RAM and storage variants, though none of this was confirmed. The phone has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage on board.
