This will certainly be a setback for Solskjaer but the Man United caretaker boss has yet another reason to be happy after Edinson Cavani picked up what looked to be a hamstring injury during PSG's 1-0 win over Bordeaux.
Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is a major doubt to face Manchester United on Tuesday after sustaining an injury. "We don't have another Edi like we don't have another Neymar", said PSG coach Thomas Tuchel.
Les Parisiens are already without Neymar following a recurrence of his foot injury and it appears that he could be joined by Cavani, who suffered a thigh problem right before the close of half-time.
"No [we are not favourites], I think we are tied, it's 50/50."Yes, it is worrying. "We don't have another Edi like we don't have another Neymar".

The Uruguayan centre-forward has scored 17 times in the French league and twice in the Champions League this season.
And speaking after the game, Tuchel said: "If he [Cavani] comes off, obviously I am anxious". We have to wait a little bit more, but the club will communicate on this later today. "They need to know how to control and handle the pressure, but without two or three of them, it is up to us to come up with solutions".
Some good news for Tuchel, though, is that midfielder Marco Verratti has won his race to be fit after overcoming a sprained ankle and a thigh issue to play for an hour against Bordeaux to prove his fitness ahead of Old Trafford.
"Marco Verratti wants to play but he only played 60 minutes once", he said.
United, meanwhile, have run into form since replacing Jose Mourinho with Solskjaer at the end of December.
