Kate Middleton wore Alexander McQueen to BAFTA 2019.

She completed the gorgeous look with her hair pulled back into a low bun, metallic silver shoes and a pair of diamond earrings, once owned by Princess Diana, per the Hollywood Reporter.

Kate and William have attended the awards ceremony together every year since William was made President in 2010.

The royal couple were given a warm welcome from an excited crowd as they walked the red carpet looking regal at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday.

While scheduling conflicts (ahem, Grammys) left the evening slightly overshadowed, the BAFTAs gave us everything and more, including a meeting of fictional Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) and the very authentic Prince William and Kate Middleton.

According to reports, the same earrings were worn by Princess Diana in 1995 when she accepted the Humanitarian of the Year award from the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation.

They were greeted at the entrance by the Royal Albert Hall's chief executive Craig Hassall before making their way to their seats.

Of course, this is not the first time that Kate Middleton has taken inspiration from Princess Diana, previously she has been spotted wearing similar outfits to those of Lady Diana at various occasions.

The royal couple sat in the front row for the star-studded awards ceremony and greeted some of the night's winners, including best actress victor Olivia Coleman, who is also an Oscar nominee for her portrayal of Queen Anne in The Favourite.
