Cristiano Ronaldo vs Anthony Martial - who did it better against Fulham?

'Manchester United are a big club, this is the same team that were called weak before and now are considered the best, but it's same players.

United ran out comfortable 3-0 winners away from home at Craven Cottage, with a Paul Pogba brace sandwiching Martial's stunning 23rd-minute strike.

The closest United have come to losing since Solskjaer's arrival was against Burnley at the end of January, when they came back from 2-0 down to seal a draw.

United's win powered them up to fourth in the Premier League.

Pogba has been in outstanding form for United since Jose Mourinho departed in December, with the Frenchman playing a key role in his team's turnaround over the last couple of months. "Above all, we have to try to enjoy these games because these are the games we all want to play in and to enjoy".

"There is always an element of risk but if you don't risk you don't win", Solskjaer told Sky Sports.

Solskjaer and Pogba have some tough times ahead though. So dominant was he against Fulham that one felt for Calum Chambers, the man charged with shackling him.

In the 23rd minute, Martial produced a moment of magic in keeping with United's scintillating counter-attacking traditions. Martial and Lingard have also supported the duo well with Matic and Ander Herrera also settling in well in the midfield.

Fulham had more than one opportunity to claw their way back into the game this afternoon.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Marcus Rashford can be seen as a similar threat to PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe. "Paul can do that with his qualities".

"We started very well, we created two great chances to score a goal, but suddenly Pogba scored the first goal, and I think, "Okay, stay calm, and we can continue to play and find a solution", he said. He continually searched for space and there was plenty to be found against a ponderous, confidence-sapped Fulham whose own fans questioned whether their manager Claudio Ranieri knew what he was doing.

Paul Pogba scored a brilliant goal from an nearly impossible angle, while Anthony Martial scored an excellent solo goal to double the lead for Solskjaer's men. "He came into the dressing room".
