A New Year's greeting phone call initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to US President Donald Trump appears to have mitigated India's concerns over the expected US drawdown from Afghanistan, with the two sides agreeing to increase cooperation in the war-torn country as part of a larger US-India strategic partnership.

Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis unveiled the poster at South Mumbai's Garware Club House in 23 languages. The movie was in the talks for the past one year and finally the Narenda Modi biopic is happening. "I truly believe at the end of the journey, I pray I become better actor and a better human being", Vivek Oberoi had said about essaying the role of PM Modi. "Vivek is very hardworking and I am sure all of them will make an evergreen film". The film is being co-produced by his father Suresh Oberoi and Bhumi fame Sandip Singh. Reportedly, the film will be shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, among other locations in the country, over a period of a few months. The shooting of the film is going to begin in mid-January.
