Here's how Liverpool fans have been reacting to Klopp's comments ahead of a hugely important game against Everton.

Their optimism stands in contrast to the first real signs of problems in Klopp's camp this season.

It will be fast and furious, but I think Liverpool will win, and cure a bit of their hangover from their Champions League defeat against Paris St-Germain.

Among many factors put forward for Liverpool's slight drop off in attacking prowess, fatigue seems one of the most obvious, with Klopp adamant that he will maintain strong bids for success in both the Premier and Champions Leagues.

"If we can do that then I believe we can settle into the game quickly and play the game that we're used to".

Liverpool will be looking for a win to keep pace with Manchester City at the top of the table when they welcome Everton to Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Iceland worldwide Sigurdsson scored the winning goal as Everton overcame promoted Cardiff City 1-0 last Saturday to extend their unbeaten league run to three games and climb to sixth in the table on 22 points.

The Egyptian fired 44 goals in his inaugural season for the Reds last term but was criticised for starting slowly this term.

"Yes, we could have scored more goals and been more creative".

"We need to turn up on Sunday and do our talking on the pitch".

"I don't know if there's any explanation for that right now because I can't think of one, otherwise we should have used it already".

"They were different games in the past, it was clear that Everton would be very passive, that is not the case now".

Shortly after moving to Everton, Digne claimed he had turned down two approaches from Liverpool in the past, adding that his "I never walk alone" chest tattoo had nothing to with Everton's fiercest rivals.

He anticipates a more dynamic visiting side under Silva.

The Iceland midfielder has recovered from a disappointing debut season on Merseyside and is back to the form that made his name at Swansea.

"If you wouldn't say that I wouldn't even think about it".

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "Silva has the best squad [of all the Everton managers I have faced]". We have a good mentality too and we work hard every week.
