Tamera Mowry confirms her niece Alaina Housley died in bar shooting

Tamara and her husband, Adam Housley, confirmed this afternoon that their 18-year-old niece, Alaina Housley, was one of the 12 victims who lost their lives in the shooting at Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California, on November 7.

Alaina Housley's roommate, Ashley, posted images of her on Twitter, saying she's still missing after the shooting at Borderline Bar & Grill that killed 12 people, including a Ventura County sheriff's sergeant.

After confirming Alaina's death, Adam posted a photo of his niece on Instagram with the caption, "I really don't know what to say other than I love this girl with all my heart and I'd give my life right now for a miracle". Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner.

A college student named Ashley tweeted that her suitemate was missing after the shooting.

Adam has since taken to Twitter to ask his followers for prayers for his niece, who he described as "a lovely soul". "I'm hoping I'm wrong", he said.

The gunman, identified by authorities as former Marine Ian David Long, was also killed.

Housley's Apple Watch and iPhone showed her location at the bar until today but her family was hopeful she had left them there before fleeing.

Mowry reportedly responded to the above tweet, "Ashley this is her aunt Tamera Mowry Housley. I know you always hear those things". "Can you please DM me your information?" the former Sister Sister star wrote in response to the woman, who had put out a desperate call seeking information on her friend.

After a Twitter user offered her prayers, Mowry responded saying, "We haven't found her yet. Thank you to Law Enforcement". Please pray. Please pray.

Our sweet Alaina Housely is gone. The Real co-host even asked one follower who she believed knew a bit more about Alaina's whereabouts to share their direct message information with her.
