Destiny 2 PC Version Is Free for a Limited Time

Destiny 2 will be free to claim and download from November 2-18, 2018.

Blizzcon kicked off, unexpectantly, with some Destiny 2 news. Activision aims to counter this by offering the game for free on multiple platforms-first we saw it free on Sony's PlayStation Plus, and now it's up for free with no strings or subscription paygates attached on the PC client.

Announced on the Blizzcon all access stream ahead of this year's Blizzcon opening ceremony, anyone with a account will be able to add Destiny 2 to their account until November 18 (US time).

Destiny 2's base game is now available for free on PC.but be prepared to be locked out of content. Will you check out the game now that's it doesn't cost a dime? Players creating new accounts to redeem the game will be required to enable Blizzard SMS protection before they are allowed to redeem the game.
