Blizzard announces long-awaited Warcraft 3 remaster at Blizzcon

Diablo Immortal is a truly mobile game for those who love to play on the go with their smartphones.

If you are a fan of the Diablo series from Blizzard (now Blizzard/Activision) and have been hoping that maybe, some day, a full-featured game would land on iOS devices in the future, that wait is nearly over.

Blizzard has revealed Diablo Immortal, a new game in the Diablo franchise created for mobile devices. In "Diablo Immortal" the story picks up after the events of the "Diablo II" expansion, "Lord of Destruction", wherein the World Stone has been shattered into fragments by the hand of the angel Tyrael.

Yesterday, Blizzard kicked off their BlizzCon celebration with some more Diablo news, though it wasn't exactly what many were expecting.

Blizzard even reiterated these points just two weeks ago, stating that while it knows "what many of you are hoping for, we can only say that 'good things come to those who wait, ' but evil things often take longer". And, true enough, the onstage announcement showed off Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Necormancer, Wizard and Monk classes.

Blizzard Entertainment today unveiled Warcraft III: Reforged, a stunning reimagining of the revolutionary real-time strategy game that laid the foundation for Azeroth's most epic stories.

Introduced as a remaster for "another Titan" in a knowing what was probably a knowing nod to its lore, the announcement was made by Pete Stilwell, senior producer at Blizzard, during the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2018.

The devs are re-balancing a ton of heroes, units and more to ensure it plays like a "modern game", and multiplayer will be hosted via the modern client. With the game planning to be expanded through live-content patches, Blizzard confirmed that they will be adding more classes over time. "We're walking around with full-fledged gaming devices in our pocket and we want to make a full-fledged game for mobile".

In this game, you'll choose from six classes, then use abilities and attacks to defeat your opponents.
