Police say Baldwin was backing into an open parking spot when a man in a different vehicle came in from behind him and took the spot. The alleged incident took place just months after he was photographed allegedly pushing a man against a auto near NYU's Greenwich Village campus. He is expected to be charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor crime carrying a maximum punishment of one year in jail.
TMZ reported that witnesses saw him get "into an argument with another man over a parking spot near 10th Street and 5th Avenue".
The "Hunt for Red October" star was trying to park in a spot when his alleged victim jumped into the spot at about 1:30 p.m., sources with knowledge of the case said.

Cops reportedly arrested Baldwin and are keeping him at the nearby 6th Precinct.
