José Mourinho responds to reports of a return to Real Madrid

"My future is here", Mourinho told a news conference yesterday ahead of the Champions League clash with Juventus.

While the Argentine has scored 389 goals for FC Barcelona in LaLiga, Ronaldo netted 84 for Manchester United in the Premier League, 311 for Los Blancos in La Liga and now five in Serie A for Juventus. I am happy to see out my contract to the very last day of that contract and I would like to stay after my contract runs out as well.

Jose Mourinho has claimed he hopes to stay at Manchester United beyond the end of his current contract.

United boss Mourinho also revealed Alexis Sanchez is out of the match with Juventus.

And according to Spanish media outlet El Chiringuito, Real Madrid have lined up Mourinho as the man to replace Lopetegui when his position as manager becomes untenable. Marouane Fellaini, Jesse Lingard, Diogo Dalot, Scott McTominay and Phil Jones are also missing.

He said: "The challenge of tomorrow is to win the game but we will do our best and see how we stand against one of the best teams in Europe. Nothing to hide. Alexis is out", he said.

Mourinho then launched an impassioned defence of Chelsea coach Marco Ianni, whose touchline celebrations at the weekend touched a nerve with the Portuguese and led to a melee near the tunnel at Stamford Bridge.

Despite Real's abject form, it would still be a massive shock if they failed to beat Viktoria Plzen, who were thrashed 5-0 by Roma in their most recent Champions League outing. I accepted his apologies.

On one side keep the happiness, the pride and confidence in the way we play, and use that anger if you want to call it that, to motivate yourself to play a big match", explained Mourinho, who said Ronaldo was "one of the best players of all time; nobody can say any differently.
