First iPhone XR Hands-On Impressions Go Live on YouTube

If you have been eagerly waiting for the iPhone XR to jump on the iOS league without shelling over a lakh, iPhone XR pre-orders finally commence in India on Friday. And while reviews aren't being published yet, some folks were lucky enough to get some early hands-on time with the colorful iPhone. The sale of the iPhone XR in India will commence on October 26, but pre-ordering the device will help buyers beat the rush on the sale day.

What just happened? Apple recently invited select tech editors and influencers to New York City for a hands-on preview of the new iPhone XR, Apple's latest budget-minded smartphone. We've embedded several of the best videos below. This brings the effective price of the iPhone to Rs 69,900.

The Apple iPhone XR is powered by hexa-core processor and it packs 64GB of internal storage that can not be expanded. Like clockwork, this year too Apple launched new iPhones which featured iterative upgrades to the existing iPhone X range. Rather than packaging older internals into a new design (like iPhone 5c), it boasts numerous features that make the significantly more expensive iPhone XS and XS Max so special.

"Introducing iPhone XR" also shows off the color options, but also includes text that explains why the iPhone XR is so good. It will be sold in Black, Blue, Coral, PRODUCT (RED), White, and Yellow colour options. It bears an all-glass design with an aluminium frame surrounding the perimeters. It was reportedly delayed due to manufacturing issues, so we'll see if Apple has enough units in stock to meet the demand.

For selfies, the iPhone XR sports a 7MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture along with a TrueDepth camera for FaceID.
