Video shows Weinstein’s hands-on encounter with rape accuser

The recorded meeting and the alleged rape are both included in a class action lawsuit against Weinstein and others connected to him who might have known what was happening.

A new video of a business meeting between Harvey Weinstein and a woman who has accused him of raping her shows him hitting on the woman and appearing to touch her inappropriately - just hours before the accuser says he raped her in a hotel room.

The 2011 meeting was part of a pitch by Thompson to get Weinstein to use her tech startup company, she said. According to a new interview with Sky News, Thompson alleges Weinstein put his hand "up under the table up my dress", which is not seen on camera.

Thompson says that when she arrived at the hotel, Weinstein instructed her to "follow me", and she did so thinking they were going to a conference room.

"Let me have a little part of you", he replies. In the video, she noticeably squirms and says "that's a little high".

"A little high, a little high, that's a little high, that's a little high", Thompson replies.

"Inspection will reveal that the evidence before the grand jury amply supported the offenses charged, that the grand jury was properly instructed on the law, and that the integrity of the proceedings was unimpaired, and the People deny all allegations to the contrary, and oppose disclosure of the grand jury minutes to the defense", the filing in New York Supreme Court adds.

Thompson is shown mildly flirting back and touching his shoulder, but she said she was "trying to save face" and manage the situation.

Out on $1 million bail after having plead not guilty to the first round of indictment and having surrendered his passport earlier this summer, Weinstein is set to be back in Justice Burke's Manhattan courtroom on September 20. She agrees, and told Sky that it felt safer than being alone in his office.

Throughout the meeting, Weinstein continually makes suggestive comments toward Thompson. Sky News reported that he then locked the door.

"It wasn't an invitation to go to his hotel room".

"If I tried to fight myself away from him, he would more around to block me in somewhere and he's a big individual. He cornered me, over and over again".

Thompson's rape allegation is part of a class action lawsuit against the former Hollywood producer, whose career was toppled by a series of rape, sexual assault and harassment allegations a year ago. "I thought I could handle it, I had never met anyone that I couldn't handle... until Harvey Weinstein". "This is a further attempt to publicly disgrace Mr Weinstein for financial gain and we will not stand for it. Facts do matter". But after they met, that's where Weinstein led her anyway and that's where Thompson said he raped her.

So far, over 80 women have accused the producer of sexual misconduct, assault or rape.
