Dani Carvajal brilliantly reached out to Luke Shaw following his nasty aerial injury during England's worldwide fixture against Spain.

Shaw suffered a sickening injury during England's defeat to Spain after a collision with Dani Carvajal during the Nations League game at Wembley.

'He was obviously knocked out before he hit the floor.

Minutes later, the former Southampton player needed to be stretchered off, as doctors at Wembley continued giving him the needed medical attention. The defender appeared to be wearing an oxygen mask as he was stabilized on a stretcher and then wheeled off the field.

Thankfully Shaw was walking and talking before the match was out and tweeted he was "doing fine" that night, but the full-back will return to United on Monday after being concussed against Spain.

Immediately after the clash, the Real Madrid fullback went to have a check on the Manchester United ace to assess the wellness of Shaw.

The 23-year-old earned a recall to the England squad this week for the first time since March 2017 after being given a run of games at club level by Jose Mourinho.

The sight of Shaw being surrounded by medics on the pitch brought up memories of the injury he sustained during the second season of his United career which he recently admitted nearly cost him his leg.

Yet a report from The Sun has claimed that Shaw is stalling on signing a new United contract, even though the tabloid alleges he is in line for a pay rise to £130,000-per-week.

England and Spain players took to social media to send their support to Shaw, including his United teammates Marcus Rashford, Ashley Young and David de Gea.
