Disney plans to launch Marvel Cinematic Universe streaming spin-offs

Unlike Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Jessic Jones, Disney's new Marvel shows will have a much larger budget. Of course, both characters met their demise in Avengers: Infinity War and many fans have taken to Twitter to humorously point out the news provide more evidence that most if not all of the deaths in the Marvel film will be undone.

The report from Variety also indicates that Loki and Scarlet Witch won't be the only Marvel superheroes getting their own shows. Sure, we love our boys, but what if ladies got their own shows that focused on how awesome they can be?

The shows are also expected to have a big budget that will rival other major studio productions.

What do you think of this news, are you seeing enough content here to justify a subscription to Disney Play? Not to mention newly announced Star Wars and High School Musical TV shows. All of these items put together will surely inspire viewers to sign up for Disney's service. Marvel TV and Marvel Studios have operated as separate entities. We'll have to wait and see to find out how Marvel Studios will use Disney's service to expand the MCU-neither Marvel nor Disney are commenting on the story at the moment.

There was a time when something like this would seem unthinkable, but Disney has the power and the money to make it a reality. Disney has already said its streaming service will cost less than Netflix, and it'll also include original films like the Lady and the Tramp remake and the Christmas comedy Noelle starring Bill Hader and Anna Kendrick.

Journey into Mystery (Gillen/Braithwaite) - while it focuses on Kid Loki, I'm sure there's some way, shape, or form you could shoehorn Hiddleston as a regular presence in the series, partnering him with a young version of himself on an epic quest through the various corners of Marvel's mythological pantheon. Adding on to that, Kevin Feige will apparently be involved in a hands-on role and, of course, there's two big names front and centre in Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen. Anyone who has wanted to see more of these characters will finally get their wish.

Disney is reportedly planning Loki and Scarlet Witch spin-offs for its upcoming streaming service.
