Google Pixel 3 XL fully revealed in hands-on pics and video

Then join our Team! To make things even more interesting, we now have another leak that puts Google's upcoming Pixel 3 XL front and center.

It's unusual that a boxed, production model Google Pixel 3 XL has been leaked so far in advance of the expected launch date, which is thought to be 4 October, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

These leaked photos appear to be of a model that is very close to a final production unit. The handset is expected to be unveiled this October, so in all probability this is it. They look nice too.

Talking about the other major specs, Pixel 3 will feature a 2960×1440 display with a pixel density of 494-let's hope that it turns out to be a lot better than Pixel 2's display, which was the phone's weakest point. On the front we can see information pertaining to the device, which is running Android 9 Pie.

The back of the Pixel 3 XL is similar to the back of the Pixel 2 XL.

But there's still only a single-lens camera on the back with Google seemingly happy to stick with software trickery to optimize pictures rather than adding hardware. The default wallpaper also bears an uncanny resemblance to the one in the iPhone X.

Does speedy software updates make up for Google's unusual design choices?

The Telegram channel also has an unboxing video (available via the Source link) showing what is available in the box. There's also a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter included.

As well as the phone itself, the pictures give away that Google might be about to include a pair of USB-C headphones in the box that look a lot like the wireless Pixel Buds it released with the Pixel 2 XL past year.
