First look at Margot Robbie in new film with Leonardo DiCaprio


Margot Robbie is playing Sharon Tate in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", which is due out next summer.

"#Tarantino movie people think they know what this movie is, they don't I'm grateful to Quentin for letting me read the script, and sitting down with me to explain his vision", she wrote, adding, "I have to protect my sisters legacy and to do what I can to make sure her memory is not exploited".

Robbie's sneak peek comes days after Sharon's little sister Debra Tate finally gave the film her seal of approval after months of blasting Tarantino and Sony for "exploiting" her sister's death.

In the picture shared on the I, Tonya actress' Instagram page, Robbie is seen wearing a black turtleneck paired with a white mini skirt and white boots. Opening on the 50th anniversary of the day that the Manson family committed the LaBianca murders and the day after Tate was killed.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt have also both confirmed their place in the film, with the first look pic released of the movie featuring them leaning casually against a wall.

Quentin Tarantino is helming the period project, which will center around the Manson family murders.

The film will be released worldwide on August 9, 2019.

The Tarantino movie is set in 1969 and will loop in numerous stories of Hollywood at the time.

Set in the height of hippie culture in 1969 Los Angeles, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood follows DiCaprio's Rick Dalton, an out-of-work actor, and Pitt's Cliff Booth, Rick's stunt double.

One thing we do know is that the incredible cast will also include Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Scoot McNairy, Clifton Collins, Luke Perry, and Burt Reynolds. But [DiCaprio's character] Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor...
