The striker announced that he would speak about his future in the days following the 3-1 win over Liverpool in late May, but has so far said nothing.

And it's a deal which, according to a report in the Italian media, Cristiano himself initiated: Premier Sport says that the Portugal captain and his agent, Jorge Mendes, met Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici before the World Cup to offer the 33-year-old's services to the Vecchia Signora.

Every summer, Cristiano Ronaldo is linked with a move away from Real Madrid.

"It makes me laugh", he told Sportitalia (via Goal).

Last season, Juventus won Serie A for the seventh consecutive season, as they finished top of the league ahead of Napoli who had pushed them close.

French journalist Baptiste Ripart posted on Twitter on Wednesday morning (AEST) that Madrid had agreed deal worth €272million (A$429 million), spread over four payments, to take Mbappe to Madrid. Ronaldo also had 85 goals in 154 global appearances with Portugal.

On Monday night, the club released a statement denying reports that they had agreed a fee with PSG for Neymar Ltd, but reports today suggest they have haggled a price for the club's other superstar: Kylian Mbappé.

In his nine-year stint, the Portuguese forward refined his game to become one of world football's most devastating goalscorers, netting 450 times in 438 appearances across all competitions while also recording 131 assists.
