George Clooney is "fine" but recovering after he was hit by a vehicle in Sardinia on Tuesday.

The publication states that according to La Nuova Sardegna, George was hit by the auto after it suddenly changed direction, taking him by surprise.

An ambulance later took Clooney to the nearest hospital, according to Cicognani.

Clooney is in Sardinia to film a miniseries based on Joseph Heller's book "Catch 22", the news agency said.
