And now things are hotting up even further, as leading lady Gal Gadot revealed what appears to be a glimpse of her fresh costume for the upcoming 2019 sequel. We've gotten a couple official shots from set already, including one of Diana Prince herself out of costume as well as one very surprising image of the first film's love interest, Steve Trevor, who we thought died at the end of that movie.
Instead of the production start date turning into technical jargon and speculation, Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins are giving a spoiler-free look into the making of Wonder Woman 1984.
Since the movie is set in 1984, which is nearly 70 years after the WWI setting of the first film, some fans suggest that Chris is playing Steve's son.More news: Taxi driver crashes into group of World Cup fans in Russian Federation

So, yeah, not much to go on here, but fans will take every little nugget they can get with the movie still about 16 months away. Gadot is, of course, starring, along with Chris Pine as Steve Trevor again and Kristen Wiig as the villainous Cheetah. Narcos star Pedro Pascal is also set to star. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Walter Hamada, and Geoff Johns are executive producers.
Wonder Woman continues to be the lone bright spot in the flailing DC Extended Universe. Patty Jenkins wisely chose a more radiant colour palette in Wonder Woman and she has continued the same in the sequel too.
"Wonder Woman 1984" is expected to hit theaters on November 1, 2019. Oscar-nominated editor Ricahrd Pearson (United 93) is editing the film.
