Cape Town - Shortly before his performance on Saturday Night Live, Childish Gambino released a new song and music video. Directed by Glover's Atlanta collaborator, Hiro Murai, the video has a rich depth of field, layering in a large ensemble cast, cars and dance moves as the restless camera follows the main character's path. Despite his tremendous success, Glover believes it's time to retire his music alter-ego. After writing, producing and starring in a number of shorts, Glover caught his big break when he joined the writer's room of Tina Fey's NBC hit 30 Rock. While some may call him a triple threat - as an actor, writer and singer - he considers himself "just a threat".

Glover is, of course, one of the most-talented performers that we've seen on the sketch series to date and he is the sort of guy who really can do everything. '. "This Is America" lyrically demonstrates strong rap verses on the experience of being a black person in America. His third album, Awaken, My Love! Gambino kicks off a nation-wide "This Is America" Tour this fall, in what's sure to be quite the experience.
