We can all stop watching the video of Rob Gronkowski dancing with other celebrities, wondering if he will come back to the Patriots for the 2018 season.

Rob Gronkowski announced on Tuesday that he intends to play for the Patriots in 2018.

It was following the loss to the Eagles in Super Bowl LII that Gronkowski said he wanted to take time to contemplate his future.

His decision to not attend the team's voluntary workouts this week only added to the speculation he may call it quits. This story will be updated with the latest. With the 23 overall pick, the Patriots selected tight end Dallas Goedert from South Dakota State.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Gronkowski's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, was also in the meeting with Belichick on Tuesday.

"Tom's intentions have not changed", Yee told Schefter.

Gronkowski wrote the following on Instagram: "I met with coach today and informed him I will be back for the 2018 season with the Pats".

The career Patriot sparked the possibility after catching two touchdowns in the Super Bowl defeat.

This will be his 9th season in the National Football League, and the end may be coming for potentially the best tight end to ever play.

In 2017, the Patriots sweetened Gronkowski's contract with incentives.

Brady, who turns 41 this August, threw for 4,577 yards and 32 touchdowns last season.
