While the hashtag #GoBackModi is topping the trends on Twitter, actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan has sent an open letter to the honorable PM Modi as 'a concerned citizen of Indian and Tamil Nadu.
He also said that 'I think with your experience with Narmada Control Authority, you could easily deliver the justice that TN is seeking for'. "I want this belief to be dispelled", states Kamal.
"I am very sure you are aware of the crisis that is gripping Tamil Nadu and the ongoing agitations for the Cauvery water", Haasan said referring to the hunger strikes, marches, and shutdown call demanding the formation of the Cauvery Management Board (CMB). "People are more important than elections", he added.More news: Saudi Aramco will build $44 billion 'mega refinery' in India

Stating that it was Mr. Modi's duty to form the Cauvery Management Board, Mr. Haasan said, "Tamil people are protesting for justice".
"Both pundits and pedestrians alike suspect and believe that this delay in us getting justice is due to the elections in Karnataka and your interest in it".
On February 16, the court had ordered the Central government to set up the Cauvery water Management Board (CMB) and Cauvery Water Regulation Committee (CWRC) within six weeks, in regards to the Cauvery River water dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. It proves when opposition parties led by the DMK held a black flag protest against the visit of PM Narendra Modi to the city. "I'm sure that you will do the needful, and you must", Kamal ended his note. Kamal said he would follow up this with an open letter to the Prime Minister so as to ensure that he had not missed any points in his anxiety through the video appeal.
