Year-Old Blue Ivy Carter Bid $19000 on a Piece of Art

The 6-year-old was flanked by her parents at the second Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles, a charity event supporting the work of the Where Art Can Occur Theater Centre.

Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy Carter created a viral moment when she threw up bids at an art auction to the tune of $19,000.

There is only one person in this world that can spend Beyonce and Jay-Z's money without permission - and that is Blue Ivy Carter.

Everyone's favourite six-year-old has stolen the show when she made a decision to bid $19k (£14k) on some art, as her parents tried to pry away the bidding paddle from her grip.

Video captured at the event shows Blue flashing the paddle for a USA $17,000 bid on a portrait of legendary actor Sidney Poitier, before raising it up with a United States $19,000 bid. She then went higher at $19,000. She raised me to believe that giving was not an option, but a privilege and a responsibility.

"Let me tell you what's happening".

Blue Ivy wasn't the only member of the family to be successful at the auction, as her 36-year-old mother - who also has twins Rumi and Sir, nine months, with her spouse - shelled out $17,000 for a set of Lorraine Schwartz panther earrings that she had previously worn at an event. Her mother and father have been talking about how you gather art and that is a big deal for African-Americans'. "Listen, you know, Ms. Tina [Knowles] told me all of this", the host said.

The "Formation" singer was in attendance at the 2018 Wearable Art Gala to benefit the artist's empowerment organization, WACO, co-founded by her mother, Tina Lawson. "I feel really full", said an emotional Bey.
