This was the case with National Basketball Association agent Dan Fegan, who was killed in a auto crash on Sunday.

The Colorado State Police said that Fegan tried to merge his SUV onto a highway before a commuter bus hit him, according to multiple reports. According to the Aspen Times, Fegan's five-year-old son and an unidentified 29-year-old woman were airlifted to a Denver hospital with serious injuries.

He was attempting to cross or merge on to the highway when his SUV was broadsided by the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority bus, the Colorado State Patrol said. Updates on their condition were not available Sunday night. He went on to represent clients such as Dwight Howard, Kris Humphries, Chandler Parsons, Ricky Rubio, John Wall, Yi Jianlian and Demarcus Cousins.
