Liz Hurley tells of 'brutal' stab attack on nephew

Elizabeth Hurley has revealed her 21-year-old nephew was "repeatedly stabbed" in a "brutal attack" in London.

She wrote on Twitter: "My 21 year old nephew was repeatedly stabbed in a brutal attack in London on Thursday night".

The actress flew back to the United Kingdom after her nephew was repeatedly stabbed on Thursday.

The Austin Powers star added: "The police and hospital are being fantastic".

Hurley has often posted selfies with her nephew calling him "handsome" and sharing pics of family occasions, which include her son Damian. "The police will be appealing for witnesses", Elizabeth Hurley tweeted early Saturday. The motive is unclear.

Mr. Hurley is said to have followed in the showbiz footsteps of his famous aunt, and has modelled for Italian fashion houses such as Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Carvalli.

The tabloid claimed that model Miles had been injured following an altercation and that "his family had feared the worst". Another man, also 21, was also suffering from stab wounds.

A report states that the 21-year-old male had multiple stab wounds to his back and that both men were taken to the hospital "where their conditions are described as not life-threatening or life-changing", police said to People.

Hurley returned to London shortly after Thursday's attack on Miles Hurley.

According to Elizabeth, 52, officers were called and a police officer on patrol close to the crime scene near Battersea Park administered first aid until paramedics arrived.

Liz is especially close to Miles, whose mum is her older sister Kate Curran, 54. By some miracle no vital organs were damaged. HELLO! has contacted a representative for Elizabeth for comment.
