Everything You Need To Know About iOS 11.3

This updated version of iOS adds new Animoji to the iPhone X, improves ARKit's ability to recognize surfaces and also adds the ability to turn processor throttling off for iPhones with older batteries.

First of all, the iOS 11.3 update comes with a new Battery Health feature, located in Settings.

The new feature allows users to check battery health of their iPhone and will recommend users if a battery needs to be serviced. Additionally, users can now see if the power management feature that dynamically manages maximum performance to prevent unexpected shutdowns. The updated version of the power management option is now available only on select models including iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It will give a note that performance has been applied to prevent this from happening again.

With iOS 11.3, you'll be able to turn this off - you should see a performance boost, but it may damage the overall long-term health of your battery.
