The Cupertino tech conglomerate is also planning to bring an affordable version of Apple iPhone X too.

According to the report, Apple plans to use A12 processors in both the new Plus-sized phone and a sequel to the iPhone X called D32, enabling both the larger and same-sized phones to outperform the current iPhone X.

"According to the news, the future Apple model will come with a 6.5 "(OLED) display and it would be the largest phone ever produced by the brand.

The iPhone X will be the primary device from 2018 but rumors claim a total of three different devices are heading to stores.

The report claimed that the phone will be offered in a dual-SIM version, meaning that it will be likely aimed at the Asian market. It's going to be supermassive as compared to the iPhone X. MacRumors that reveal out latest happenings of Apple and Mac didn't confirm about how true the news of iPhone's latest features is.

Many believe the iPhone X's wallet-busting price tag contributed to its lackluster sales.

Apple is allegedly testing prototypes of this larger model with a 2688x1242 display resolution, keeping the sharpness of the iPhone X on a much larger screen. This should keep costs down, making the device more appealing to many customers.

Aside from a dual-SIM, the sources also said there could be a gold option, being perceived as a popular offering in Asia, for the updated iPhone X, and for the larger iPhone X Plus.

After the iPhone X became the biggest iPhone released to date with a 5.8-inch display, Apple plans to go the extra mile with the imminent release of the iPhone X Plus. Looks like now Apple will also include that color option in upcoming iPhones. Apple has not made a final decision and might opt for E-SIM technology instead. But he doesn't think it will have a measurable impact on demand because many consumers will want the bigger model.

With the iPhone X a year ago, Apple finally introduced an all new design language for the iPhone with minimal bezels and an edge-to-edge display.

While Android smartphone manufacturers are having a blast at the MWC 2018, Apple is continuing to develop their next big iPhone.
