The rollout appears to have begun in Germany, with Allaboutsamsung.de reporting that the final release update is heading to Beta testers now. This would be a big update, since most users have been waiting for Oreo for quite some time. As always, you can check for updates through the Settings app on your phone. They've even made a video about it to show the Galaxy S7 Edge running Android Oreo. Actually, Samsung seemingly things those upgrades are so important that the company plans to impose an additional $100 for each phone in contrast to the launch prices of previous year's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

Like all other software updates, the over-the-air (OTA) release of the Oreo update will be gradual, so don't get impatient if the update notification doesn't pop up on your phone.
