David Moyes confident Patirce Evra can make an impact at West Ham

West Ham are now level with Saturday's opponents Watford, but they face a tough fixture in a fortnight in the form of a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool. We were very wary of Watford after their performance and result against Chelsea.

In the earlier meeting this season, Watford defeated West Ham 2-0 behind goals from Will Hughes and Richarlison.

Watford actually carved open the first opportunities of an open game, Etienne Capoue with a shot deflected over and, from the corner, Adrian Mariappa's header forcing a smart save from Hammers goalkeeper Adrian.

"I know how we got those points - running a lot, and working a lot - and I think this is the key to the future".

THREE West Ham fans were arrested on Saturday, following the 2-0 win at home to Watford.

West Ham lost 3-1 to Brighton last weekend, snapping a six-game points streak for David Moyes' team.

Gracia added: "In the next couple of weeks we have the chance to recover players who are out injured and work and rest, because we need both work and rest". And we've had a few too many downs and not enough ups.

West Ham look a totally different team when the Austrian, a £24million summer signing from Stoke, gets on the ball and his late goal killed off the Hornets after Javier Hernandez had opened the scoring.

Three points and one position in the Premier League table separate West Ham and Watford ahead of their game at London Stadium. "In fact he should have scored more".

Sullivan said: "I want to speak directly to our supporters and say how important it is that we all pull together during these times. I hope he stays with us for many, may years and achieves things and wins things".
