Its assertion came in the backdrop of a leading Muslim scholar Moulana Syed Salman Hussaini Nadvi of prominent seminary Nadwatul Ulema, Lucknow stirring hornets nest by meeting Art of Living Founder Sri Sir Ravishankar.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar tweeted, saying, "Maulana Salman Husaini Nadwi's expulsion from the AIMPLB comes as a surprise, as several members of the board have met with me & expressed their commitment to foster amity amongst Hindus & Muslims & to peacefully resolve this issue". A "Hyderabad Declaration" will be issued here on Sunday afternoon by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) after the conclusion of its 26th plenary. Salman Nadwi is still speaking against the Board stand.

He had barely summed up when board members Arif Masood, Zafaryab Jeelani, Asaduddin Owaisi, Qasim Rasool Illyas and a number of others launched a vocal attack.

The Babri Masjid, built in 1528-29 CE, was demolished by Hindu Karsevaks on December 6, 1992 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, triggering massive riots across the country. "When an outfit like Karni Sena can rock the nation even after the Supreme Court's verdict, what more can be said about current circumstances", Maulana Salman said. The case in the court is not of faith but of the title.
