Nicole Eggert Details Alleged Assault by Scott Baio in First TV Interview

Eggert alleged that the abuse would be a weekly occurrence, but Baio would regularly grope her or try to steal kisses on set while she was a teen.

"The issue with him is that he was our boss", Eggert said. According to Eggert, the sexual abuse started before her 15th birthday when "we were at his house in his vehicle in his garage, and he reached over and penetrated me with his finger".

"I had never experienced anything like that before either".

Eggert says after she and Baio had sex, his treatment of her noticeably changed.

Baio also pointed to a 2013 interview Eggert did with the gossip website the Dirty in which she laughingly talked about initiating sexual relations with him. "And that it when the sexual abuse and touching started". It wasn't a "Hold me down, rape me" situation. Eggert indicated to Kelly that she very well might. Eggert insists that a almost 30-year-old Baio coerced her into having sex when she was 17, while he claims the encounter took place after filming, which would have made Eggert over 18. He also was telling me, you know, 'You can't tell anybody, this is illegal, I'll go to jail, the show will be over, everyone will be sued, you'll be out of a job, you'll ruin everybody's life, ' and it's scary.

She then told Kelly that she and Baio had sex in her home when she was 17 and Charles in Charge was still being filmed. That was my delusion, that was my cover up, always.

On Twitter and in a 16-minute video posted on Facebook, Baio vehemently denied abusing Eggert when she was a minor. "Creep." This started a series of tweets in which she claims she was molested by him from ages 14 to 17 and went into details about the assaults. Is it not clear that this new story is just another false claim to distract you from her earlier lies? "But I was 17".

When asked how often these alleged events occurred, Eggert said, "That happened quite often, through the age of 16..." "I got really good at bearing it and putting it away in a box", she said. Nicole said she felt that she couldn't come forward sooner with her claims because she wasn't ready to tell her story.

She told Kelly that the abuse took place about once a week during the show's run. "I had to watch other children be abused as well", he wrote.

Another actor, Adam Carl, had been on an episode of Charles in Charge in 1988, and had tweeted his support to Eggert, saying, "When I worked on Charles In Charge in '88, I sat with you while you cried about that abusive A--".

The first is "Charles in Charge" co-star Alexander Polinsky who confirmed in a since-deleted tweet that he saw "inappropriate cuddling" between Eggert and Baio on the set, Kelly said while interviewing Eggert.
