The boxed versions of the game will include the three episodes that have been released so far as well as a fourth episode called "Farewell" which lets players play as Max Caulfield for a final time. The prequel to the very popular Life Is Strange will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One in three different configurations including a Standard Edition ($29.99), a Limited Edition ($39.99), and a Vinyl Edition ($69.99). The episode in question will follow Chloe and Max before the events of the first season of Life is unusual, with the characters' original voice actors, Ashly Burch and Hannah Telle, set to reprise their roles in the episode. Before the Storm Vinyl Edition will include the complete Before the Storm season, a vinyl set of the original soundtrack, the soundtrack on CD, and an art book. On March 6, 2018 there will be three separate versions of the game. Anyone that pre-orders the Vinyl Edition from Square's store will receive exclusive Chloe and Rachel figures.

Life is unusual fans who aren't yet ready to say goodbye to Max and Chloe will be pleased to hear that the bonus episode featuring the first game's two best pals will be released on March 6th.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is getting a physical release later this year. In addition to all of the contents of the Limited Edition, the Vinyl Edition will include a special collector's box and the game's full soundtrack on both CD and vinyl. Players also receive three new outfits for Chloe (including the Hawt Dawg Man t-shirt) and the first episode of the first season of Life is unusual. "Farewell" will also be launching digitally across all territories on March 6th for players who already own the digital season pass.
