So when Trump decided she wouldn't be going to Davos after all, despite an earlier announcement that she would, all sorts of conclusions were jumped to in Washington.

First lady Melania Trump has apparently made a trip to Florida while her husband is away at a world economic forum in Switzerland.

And despite marking their 13th wedding anniversary on Monday, neither Trump mentioned the occasion, nor were they seen out together publicly.

Accompanied by Director Sara Bloomfield, Mrs. Trump visited exhibits that recounted the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany, its policies toward Jewish people and the liberation of concentration camps in 1945.

Melania Trump, who has not been a daily presence in public during the first year of the Trump administration, has been little seen in Washington since Christmas.

After The Wall Street Journal broke the story on January 12, the first lady went with Trump to Mar-a-Lago in Florida for the holiday weekend but did not attend the two dinners he hosted - one with former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and another with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
