Marvel Entertainment released a new TV spot for the upcoming flick from Ryan Coogler, and it's packed with new footage.

Although some fans (sorry, Georgia) might have come away disappointed from the overtime football thriller, the trailer scored a touchdown. We recently learned that Kendrick would be producing and curating the music for the soundtrack of Black Panther, along with his label boss, Top Dawg.

The best line from the trailer might be: "You're telling me the king of a third-world country runs around in a bulletproof cat suit?"

Promotion for the Black Panther movie has kicked into high gear with tickets now being on sale.

Image Group LA/ABCA new trailer for Marvel Studios' highly anticipated Black Panther movie features an unheard track from Kendrick Lamar and Vince Staples. Covington was announced today to be writing two issues of Marvel's digital Black Panther: Long Live the King series. Although the villains of the film, Michael B Jordan's Erik Killmonger and Ulysses Klaue are allies, it is not clear who will be the final villain of the King of Wakanda.

The next issue of Black Panther: Long Live the King will be available January 10 via ComiXology.

We all know the story of T'Challa, aka Black Panther; who he was, what he did, his intellect, attitude, bravery and all around style, swagger and flavor. I think similar to Captain America: "The Winter Soldier, we're definitely influenced by the films of the '70s and influenced by crime fiction". The film also stars Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Martin Freeman, Forest Whitaker and Dani Gurira among others.
