Alabama WR Calvin Ridley Declares For NFL Draft

One day after a video surfaced that put Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough, a former IMG Academy star, in the national spotlight for yelling a disparaging remark about President Donald Trump, the junior has reportedly declared for the NFL Draft. My experience at Alabama has been exceptional. Yes, Alabama's cupboard is stacked full of talent at the receiver position, and with the emergence of freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa, the ball will likely be spread out more in the passing game, assuming he's the guy moving forward at the position.

Ridley caught a pass in each of the 44 games he played at Alabama, a streak that ranked No. 3 in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Ridley spent three years at Alabama, with his tenure culminating in his second national championship on Monday night.

Damien Harris rushed for exactly 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, averaging 7.6 yards per carry as he helped lead the Crimson Tide to another national championship. At 6-1, 190 pounds, he is viewed by some as the top wide receiver prospect in the draft and a possible first-round pick.

WR Calvin Ridley and RB Bo Scarbrough also made their decision today as they will both enter the 2018 NFL Draft. He is coming off a season in which he caught 63 passes for 967 yards and five touchdowns.
