Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 31 (ANI): Two heavily armed terrorists stormed into Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) training camp.
Stuned by the attack, dozens of CRPF personnel were in the two buildings at the time of the attack. Director General of Police S P Vaid termed the attack "unfortunate" and lashed out at Pakistan.
"Security forces including Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF and state police jointly carried out an operation to flush out the militants", the official said. The casualties were suffered in the initial attack by the militants, the sources said.More news: Michigan's minimum wage set to rise on New Year's Day

CRPF spokesman told media that three other CRPF personnel were also injured in the gunfight which began after a fidayeen terrorist group attacked the camp in the wee hours today. One of the injured personnel was identified as Saifuddin, a resident of Nowgam. The condition of the two wounded soldiers - who were rushed to a hospital - was later reported to be stable. Militant outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad claimed responsibility for the Fidayeen attack on Lethpora CRPF camp.
The attack comes on the heels of the killing of a top Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) "commander", Noor Mohammad Tantray, who was gunned down in an encounter in Samboora village in Pulwama district of South Kashmir earlier on Tuesday. JeM statement issued to a local news agency in Srinagar stated the "blood of martyrs is yielding results".
