Watch the latest trailer for Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One

Several times in Steven Spielberg's prolific career, he's released two films within a few months, like "Jurassic Park" in June 1993 and "Schindler's List" that December.

Warner Bros. Pictures has now released a new trailer for Spielberg's adaptation that, like the Ready Player One San Diego Comic-Con teaser from this past summer, is packed with shiny visuals, as well as cameos by famous "80s and '90s pop cult icons that reside within OASIS". The relatively muted color palette is a surprising choice, and while it looks as though the film could be getting a big cheesy when it comes to Wade's journey, it's hard not to give Spielberg the benefit of the doubt here. In the years since it was published, the book has become popular read for genre fans.

What do you think of this new trailer?

Ready Player One stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg, T. J. Miller, Hannah John-Kamen, Win Morisaki and Philip Zhao.

"I'm kind of sleepy because I watched it over and over again last night", Cline said before premiering the trailer.

When the first trailer dropped in June, they had weeks of fun poking at it.

The trailer is already packed with "easter eggs" - Tracer from Overwatch, Harley Quinn from the Arkham game series, and the DeLorean from Back to the Future are stand-out moments. Let us know in the comments section down below!

The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of chaos and collapse.

When the game's founder, an eccentric and unimaginably wealthy recluse named James Halliday, suddenly passes away, his video will declares that anyone who can find a hidden Easter egg inside OASIS will inherit his vast fortune and control of the virtual world where everybody spends their lives.

Ready Player One will be in theaters March 30, 2018.
