The Force Is Strong With The OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition

Sure, it may be more affordable than other flagships, but it's probably more expensive than the regular OnePlus 5T that bears no Star Wars markings on it.

Unfortunately, it seems the OnePlus 5T Star Wars is the product of the partnership between OnePlus India and Disney India and as a result, the phone will be sold only in the country.

The OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition will have a white back and black front panel, which is somewhat reminiscent of the Nexus 5. The phone will ship with default Star Wars themes, ringtones, and effects.

OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition will be making its debut in India later this month.

OnePlus is holding a special launch event in Mumbai on December 14 to formally show off the special device.

Ticket sales for the event will kick off on December 7 at 10 a.m. on Paytm, and we'll let you know once they're up for purchase. It will feature customized software themed on Star Wars, and a redesigned exterior featuring a white finish on the back of the device with a black OnePlus logo under the fingerprint sensor and a red Star Wars logo adorning the bottom.

The company is using the Star Wars-inspired"Strong enough to rule the galaxy tagline. OnePlus

As for the availability, the smartphone will go on sale the same day as the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which is on December 15.

The special edition will presumably come with the same specs as the standard Midnight Black edition. OnePlus 5T is Amazon exclusive in India, and will also be made available on the OnePlus' official online store.

While a textured crimson finish can be found on the OnePlus 5T's alert toggle switch, again drawing inspiration from the lightsaber activation switch on Ren's lightsaber, as well as the engines of a spacecraft he appears to use to blow up a ship with his mother on board - or so we're led to speculate from the trailer.

It sucks that the rest of the world is being snubbed, but this is the second time since the phone launched that Asia's getting a hot new color.

It features a 6.01-inch Full Optic AMOLED display, having a full HD+ resolution.
