As cold air settles in...a few bursts of snow could be in play for Sunday (Christmas Eve) and followed by even colder air for Christmas Day!

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-40s, the weather service said. Saturday. Just two days before Christmas, a storm system will pull up way west of New England (into the Ohio Valley) and a surge of warm, moist air will ride up into New England. All we need is the snow, and models are now suggesting we will see some. There is another chance for light snow dropping in straight from the north Saturday morning and likely clearing the state south by the evening.

While the odds on a white Christmas Day have been rising in recent days, there has been an opposite trend in the market for the warmest ever Christmas.
