Jio has launched two plans: one for Rs 199 and other for Rs 299.
Under the Rs 199 plan, a Jio prepaid user can use up to 1.2GB of high-speed 4G data for 28 days, after which the data speeds would be reduced to 128kbps. Both the plans will offer unlimited calls, SMSes and access to Jio apps which include music, movie, magazine and newspaper services. We look at all the prepaid packs and postpaid plans that offer 1GB of 4G data per day. These new plans are monthly plans (28 days) and offer higher high-speed data caps as well as the now standard unlimited voice and SMS and Jio app features. Customers are, in turn, taking advantage of the cheapest mobile data and call rates in the world. There is even interim plan that costs ₹459 with 84 days of validity. For Rs 459, Jio will offer 1GB data per day over 84 days, to provide total data benefits worth 84GB, while at Rs 499, a total of 91GB can be availed under the 1GB per day data limit. Here are Vodafone's current packs that offer 1GB 4G data per day. The ₹509 plan is for those, who requires 2 GB LTE data per day with unlimited incoming and outgoing facility (local and national) (voice and video). Among these, the Rs 399 plan allows 1GB data per day over 70 days, to effectively give 70GB data for the plan duration. In this plan, users will also get Unlimited SMS. All calls are free in this plan. Jio offers unlimited SMS while Airtel offers 100 SMS per day. We'd expect the other telecom operators to also get more aggressive in the coming year with their tariff plans.More news: Chocolate poisonings in dogs increase over Christmas and Easter
