Lady Gaga will join the list of superstars with regularly scheduled shows in Las Vegas in 2018, when she kicks off a two-year residency in December.
"The rumors are true!" she wrote.
Her residency will be at the MGM Park Theater, which has 5,3000 seats.
"I am humbled to be a part of a historical lineup of performers, and to have the honor of creating a new show unlike anything Vegas has ever seen before", she added.
The singer's Las Vegas residency has been rumored for some time, and when asked about possibly doing a series of shows by hosts of local radio station Mix 94.1 FM in January, she replied, "I'm excited someday to do that".More news: Chrome is Going to Start Blocking Bad Ads on February 15

She is reportedly finalizing a deal to perform 36 shows at The Park Theater at Monte Carlo for an estimated $400,000 per show.
Las Vegas residencies have become a popular draw for top music stars because they allow performers to remain in one place and draw large crowd without the rigors of touring. "#LasVegasGoesGaga", Gaga tweeted on Tuesday, confirming the news.
She also was spotted attending Lionel Ritchie's Las Vegas show at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood over the weekend. According to Gaga, one thing is for sure at the moment: "I'll leave my heart on the stage every single night". With Britney Spears' show signing off at the end of this year, Gaga's residency could attract some of the same younger pop fans. "Meet me in Las Vegas baby, we did it!" "And I couldn't have done it without my awesome fans, little monsters and team. Las Vegas, get ready to become the Entertainment Capital of the Universe". With her residency on the horizon, 2018 is looking good for Gaga.
