The "Merry Munchie Meal" will be available January 1 at three franchise locations in California, offering a smorgasbord of greasy items ― chicken strips, two tacos, five churros, french fries, onion rings and a small drink ― to alleviate the need to make a choice while high.

In November 2016, Californians approved Proposition 64, which legalized sales of recreational marijuana for adults starting on January 1.

It's too soon to know if the Merrie Munchie Meals will make their way to other West Coast states where marijuana is already legal.

The meal has a half-serving of curly fries, two tacos, and onion rings as well as mini-churros, a small drink and crispy chicken strips. Iwona Alter, Jack in the Box's chief marketing officer, said in an email, "Stay tuned for more details from the partnership with Merry Jane in the new year".
