Jasprit Bumrah has earned a maiden Test call-up for India's upcoming tour of South Africa.
The Indian team is now fresh off a win in the second Test against Sri Lanka in Nagpur, where skipper Virat Kohli led the charge with a double hundred. Rohit Sharma will lead the 15-member squad that has former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in it. Selectors have included uncapped past bowler Jasprit Bumrah and back-up wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel in the squad.

While announcing the squad, BCCI chairman of selectors M.S.K. Prasad said this is the best balanced side for the tour.
Chinaman Yadav missing out on a Test nod was "unfortunate", according to Prasad.
"Otherwise, Kuldeep is definitely a top-class bowler and over a period of time we'll see him growing".
The Indian team will finish their limited overs engagement against the islanders on December 24 (final T20) before they fly off to South Africa on December 27.
Yuzvender Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Mohammad Siraj, Basil Thampi and Jaydev Unadkat are included for the three-match T20I series.
