But one thing is for sure, I'm so, so, so glad that their design is based on the puppets from the 1990 live-action movie instead of those horrendous looking CGI monstrosities in Michael Bay's reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Players who purchased the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, the Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack, or the Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 3 will have early access to each of the three new fighters before they are available individually. For all we know, that partnership is what led to this unexpected development for Injustice 2.
Everyone's favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are headed to Injustice 2 with the next character pack.
The Atom, who had conveniently defeated The Manta, Raiden, and Hellboy at the beginning of the trailer, was already revealed to be a part of this pack back in October, and Enchantress could be a fun addition, but the Turtles certainly stole the show in the reveal.
The Atom and Enchantress will also be featured in the character pack. The heroes in a half-shell are now joining the DC fighting game.More news: Facebook Exploits Vulnerability In Human Psychology, Says Founding President Sean Parker

But some Ninja Turtle fans couldn't help but to feel that there was something missing from the big reveal. All four turtles (Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello) all appeared in the trailer, but since they only count as "one" character, it seems you might only be able to fight with one turtle at a time.
The new fighters won't be available immediately on launch of the PC version.
Atom is set to join the game on December 12th.
