MTA throws shade at LeBron James before game vs. Knicks

"We had two options: a 45-minute bus ride or a six-minute train ride, so we made a decision to hop on the train with the squad", James says in another video posted on Twitter.

A Monday morning subway ride with a team of National Basketball Association players?

In a video posted on the Uninterrupted Twitter page, LeBron is shown taking a video on the subway while sitting next to Kyle Korver. "Can you not?" the rider said as the camera panned on him before leaving his seat. Or, as J.R. Smith put it, "like real citizens".

Another Knicks fan is also heard talking up Kristaps Porzingis when he sees the Cavaliers walking by.

Thanks to that famous NY traffic, it was going to take almost an hour to get back to the hotel after shoot-around, so LeBron and Co. chose to take a six-minute train ride instead.

"The Knicks passed on a really good one, and Dallas got the diamond in the rough", said James after the Cavaliers defeated Smith's Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

It's unclear what train the Cavs were getting on at the 34th Street-Penn Station stop. "A 45-minute bus ride or a six-minute train ride".

James said it was his first time riding the subway in NY.

Ironically enough, the Knicks will now battle James and the Cavaliers on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.
