Even in the critically maligned Suicide Squad, Robbie's performance as Harley Quinn was the film's only redeeming quality-outshining Academy Award-winning Method Actor Jared Leto as her love interest, The Joker.

Neon has launched a new red band trailer for the indie comedy I, Tonya, which was a huge hit at the Toronto Film Festival where it first premiered.

Here's a synopsis: Based on unbelievable but true events, I, Tonya is the darkly comedic tale of American figure skater Tonya Harding and one of the most sensational scandals in sports history.

Tonya Harding's mother, according to reports published after the figure skater's ex-husband and bodyguard were charged with injuring Nancy Kerrigan, was "brutal". Margot Robbie fires off shotguns at her husband, Sebastian Stan, whilst Allison Janney chainsmokes her way through 90% of the trailer - and you've got cheesy covers of Hot Chocolate's Everyone's A victor in there too. "The haters always say 'Tonya, tell the truth.' There's no such thing as truth", the voiceover continues. Harding's involvement would eventually lead to her being stripped of her 1994 national title and a lifetime ban from the figure skating world.

Margot learned to skate for the role, which she admitted left her in "a world of pain" as she attempted to master the tricky sport. We are so, so intrigued, and can't wait to see I, Tonya when it triple axels into theaters on December 8th.
